While working for DNV I helped run their conferences and trade shows. My job required coordination of customers to employees and representatives in our office who could help them. As well as coordination of all different parts of the show such as booth setup and break down, the food being served, the advertisements to be shown, and the brochures which we give out. I helped run the booth through out the days we were there, answering questions about the company, collecting business cards and networking with other people in the industry. During my time with DNV I had the pleasure to personally run four of these conferences. Three with the CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association) in Stamford, CT. And a show in Manhattan in cooperation with NAMEPA for the World Maritime Parallel Day Event.
